Statement regarding RoHS 3, or Directive 2015/863, compliance and non-use

Array Solders’ products comply with RoHS 3, or Directive 2015/863, which adds 4 phthalates to RoHS 2 Directive 2011/65/EU. Specifically, the products do not exceed the allowable limits for the follow restricted substances:

  • Lead – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Mercury – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Cadmium – (0.01 % by mass or 100 PPM)
  • Hexavalent chromium – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)
  • Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) – (0.1 % by mass or 1000 PPM)

Our products are also “halogen-free”. Array Solders defines a product as halogen-free when the sum total of Chlorine and Bromine content in an organic homogeneous material is less than 900 parts per million (ppm).

The RoHS and halogen-free compliance applies to all products offered by Array Solders.
