Tin Lead Bar Solder (Sn/Pb)
Array Solders manufactures bar solder in a proprietary manner that minimizes impurities and oxides. In fact the composition of our bars meets the IPC standard J-STD-006. Therefore this material is typically used in applications such as dip, wave and fountain soldering.

Composition Melting Point Applications
63sn/37pb 183°C (eutectic) dip, wave, fountain soldering
60sn/40pb 186°C electronics, general purpose
50sn/50pb 191°C general electric work
30sn/70pb 361°F – 491°F automotive
Lead Free
In case your application calls for RoHS compliance, we also manufacture lead free bar solder. Unlike lead based alloys, it is considered a safer and more environmentally friendly solder with a higher melting point. As a result, lead free solder will not be as reflective as tin lead solders & is less susceptible to mechanical fatigue. Similarly, our lead free bars are manufactured in a proprietary manner that minimizes impurities and oxides. In addition, the composition meets the IPC standard J-STD-006. This material is typically used in electronic applications.

Composition Melting Point Applications
